Your lesson plan can include a club fitting to optimize your equipment. When you optimize your equipment, you give yourself the best chance to benefit fully from your instruction.
Off-the-rack clubs are designed for a mass market and don’t take into account individual differences. This does not mean that the clubs you use are no good, but that in all probability they needed to be adjusted to suit you.
Technology in golf has expanded to give you many options to increase your consistency in ball striking. It is now up to you to play with equipment that is a good fit.
